When you try using a different network SIM either than the network it is designed for, you are always prompted for Unlock Code. Just follow the following steps carefully to acquire the unlocking code
STEPS TO UNLOCK HUAWEI MODEMS
You need to write down the IMEI of the modem. The IMEI consist of several digits that can be found o the modem or the case of the modem
Then Visit Huawei Code Calculator. Input the IMEI of the modem and click on calculate. You will be shown the code.(Make sure you input the correct IMEI)
Copy the code and insert your modem into the computer with any network SIM. If you re prompted for the unlocking code, input the code you acquired and press OK.
Your modem is unlocked and you can use any SIM card on that Modem.
