The Ghana Education Service has opened the portal for recruitment of qualified trained teachers from the colleges of Education into the Ghana Education Service as teachers. This is the first recruitment for graduates of the degree programs after the programs were changed for all colleges across the country from a three year Diploma in Basic Education to a four year course in various fields of Education
Who is Eligible to Apply?
Applicants must meet the under listed requirements
- Have completed College of Education in 2022 with no outstanding exam or referral
- Completed the mandatory National Service.
- Passed the National Teacher Licensure Examination.
- Ready to work wherever his/her services would be needed.

- NSS Certificate

How to Apply
BUYING A VOUCHER
You will need a voucher to start the application process
- Buy a voucher by visiting GES Recruitment Portal portal; https://www.gespromotions.gov.gh/ and selection "eVoucher Card" as annotated in the image above
- You can buy the voucher via Mobile Money. Input a valid email and the number you will paying from to receive a prompt.
- After successfully approving payment, you will receive the Voucher Via SMS
- Copy the Voucher for the next stage
- APPLYING VIA THE PORTAL
- Visit the GES Recruitment portal; https://www.gespromotions.gov.gh/ and under "Apply for Recruitment (COE) click on Click to Apply.
- Select "Newly Trained Teacher" as Application Type and Input your College Index Number to proceed.
- Input the Voucher you purchased when it is requested for
- Enter your personal details and academic qualifications.
- List your qualifications and years of teaching experience.
- Choose your preferred subject.
- Mention any non-teaching work experience if any.
- Select three regions of your preference.
- Provide your National Service details.
- Enter your Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination ID (e.g., GTLE/GC 13428944-14).
- List the schools you attended, from the highest to the lowest, along with the years of completion.
- Review and submit the application summary.
- Print or save the application as a PDF.
