RENEW YOUR NATIONAL HEALTH INSURANCE MEMBERSHIP ON YOUR PHONE

Do you know that you  can now renew your National Health Insurance Sheme(NHIS) membership on your phone conveniently anywhere you are.

The National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) just lauched this system to relief clients from the burden of travelling to NHIA offices just to queue for renewals.
The system relies on mobile money banking to allow clients easily pay and renew their membership.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The mobile renewal service can be accessed from all networks. Accessing the service does not require data services or airtime balance.  
Here are the steps to follow

• Dial *929# and you will be presented with four options
• Select Option 2 (Which is Renewal)
• Select Card type( Choose option 1 which NHIA)
• Enter Card Number (The eight digit number on your card)
• Choose Option 1 to pay (The system prompts you to make payment)
• Choose Option 1 to proceed

Please note that payment is done using mobile money and may vary from one network to another
