Hamza Bendelladjh is a computer science students with much knowledge in computer. He is alleged to have created a virus called the SpyEye which he used hack into several banks in the United States to steal money and get several vital information to use for cyber crimes. It is reported that he even sold this virus to several cyber criminals. He has hacked about 217 banks in U.S
It took several years before the U.S authorities could spot that he was responsible.
The other issue in this case is, a lot of people believed he sent the money he stole online to support charity organizations in Palestine and Africa. Due to this reason, a lot of people are standing by Him
After his arrest, he was sentenced to death looking at the extend of his crime but his supporters were not happy to hear this and therefore launched a campaign that he should be freed
During his arrest, he was photo captured smiling as if he is not worried and that has earned him a name; "the happy hacker"
